About Me

Hi, I'm Laura.

An accredited coach supporting professionals through career change, redundancy, uncertainty and transition.

I work particularly with people in their 40s and 50s who feel stuck, have lost confidence in their work, are questioning what comes next, or are navigating significant professional change. At this stage of life, career challenges can feel especially personal because work is often deeply connected to identity, confidence and self-worth.

Laura, career coach at Crosspath Coaching

My own career journey has been far from linear or, as I often describe it, a little “squiggly.” I've changed countries, changed careers and sectors, worked in both large and small organisations, experienced redundancy, navigated personal loss, missed out on opportunities I deeply wanted, and eventually created work that felt more aligned with who I am.

Those experiences shaped not only my career, but also the empathy, perspective and resilience I bring to coaching.

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the conversations people often keep hidden — the quiet doubts, crossroads and “what now?” moments that sit beneath the surface of professional life. So many people carry uncertainty, frustration or fear silently, believing they need to navigate it alone.

For more than 20 years, I've worked alongside professionals through periods of change, growth and challenge. Much of my career was spent in recruitment and talent roles within global investment banks before moving into the people team within a Big 4 organisation, where I spent over a decade supporting professionals across performance, leadership, career development and wellbeing.

Most recently, I worked as an internal coach, and over time I realised that the most meaningful part of my work was the one-to-one conversations — helping people make sense of their careers, rebuild confidence, navigate transition and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

Coaching felt like a natural progression because it brings together what has always mattered most to me: creating space for honest reflection, supporting people through uncertainty, and helping them reconnect with their strengths, values and sense of possibility.

My coaching style is thoughtful, grounded and supportive, while also offering appropriate challenge and accountability. I combine reflective coaching with practical career transition support, helping clients move from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling clearer, more confident and more intentional about what comes next.

My approach

I specialise in career coaching for professionals navigating redundancy, career change, job loss, leadership transition and uncertainty - particularly those in their 40s and 50s, for whom these challenges often carry a deeper sense of identity and personal meaning.

Above all, I'm passionate about creating a calm, supportive space where people can think clearly, speak honestly and feel less alone while working out what comes next.

Whatever that next step looks like for you, you don't have to figure it out on your own.

Let's work together

If you're feeling stuck, uncertain or in need of some direction, I'd love to help. Start with a free discovery call - no pressure, just an honest conversation about where you are and what might help.
